The focus on the 25th day of the Kirkby Inquiry was on a potential retail development in Skelmersdale and the impact the Kirkby plan would have on that.Knowsley Council continued their cross examination of Mr Megson on the 25th day of the Kirkby Inquiry, a witness for the Combined Authorities Objectors (CAO), who spoke against the proposals, before the CAO introduced witness Mrs Taylor who spoke against the proposals based on Fifa 16 Coins  their potential impact on Skelmersdale.

Mr Megson agreed that this development married opportunity and need, and that the type of jobs proposed matched the needs of local people. But he again stressed that the possibility of a detrimental impact on other areas had to be taken into consideration. Mrs Taylor suggested that the appeal of the retail element of the Kirkby proposals would attract investors away from Skelmersdale, and jeopardise the viability of the regeneration scheme there.
